ETERNACOLL® UM and UC are the brand name of UBE for cyclic
polycabonate diols and copolycarbonatediols, respectively, where two kind
of diols are used as diol component. Solvent free grades used for different
PU formulations providing high hardness and excellent scratch resistance to
the final polymer .
ETERNACOLL® UM and UC is recommended for those applications when
high performance and durability to the final polymer is requested in terms
of the excellent heat, hydrolytic, chemical and weathering resistance than
aliphatic polycarbonatediols
UBE has developed a production technology for producing four grades of
ETERNACOLL® UM and UC with different physical properties, commercially
available, for being adapted to any production process and meeting desired
target properties with improved durability.
